Wine is one of the most popular around the world and delicious beverages, besides, is the oldest alcoholic beverage in the world. Wine consumption has been known since the old testament, and is due to its antiquity that has been able to go refined its production, care, quality and taste. Also attributed to the Church the consumption and the popularity of wine, since in the effort to cultivate, produce and distribute wine to the consecration, vineyards and wineries began to grow around the world, especially in those places where the climate was more favorable for grapes. Through the years, the wine have been known to the world as a drink to be accompanied, i.e. in general, since the beginning of the history of the wine, gastronomy has formed part of it. Another feature of the history of wine is that it is part of the culture of many countries and regions where occurs and the wine is traditionally drunk. Trade is a factor that has much influenced the distribution and expansion of the consumption of wine, thereby creating new types, flavours and aromas to the wine. Egypt, Greece, the Roman Empire, medieval, etc. are only some of the eras-regiones where began to cultivate grapes to produce the drink that today we love to all: the wine.
